Capturing the thrill and intensity of sports events is one of my greatest passions. Among the diverse sports I've had the pleasure of photographing, the Swiss wrestling tournament (Schwingfest) holds a special place. This unique event, deeply rooted in Swiss culture, showcases the strength, skill, and tradition of its best athletes.
In this section, you'll find a selection of my photographs from the Schwingfest in Horgen, a charming town near the lake of Zurich. Capoeira Showcase: Zurich Event
As part of my dedication to capturing the vibrant world of sports, I had the pleasure of photographing an exhilarating Capoeira event held here in Zurich. This event featured talented athletes from ATD Capoeira, showcasing their incredible skills and the dynamic, rhythmic art of Capoeira.
Participants came from various regions, bringing together a diverse group of performers who demonstrated the grace, strength, and cultural richness of this Afro-Brazilian martial art. Through my lens, I aimed to capture not only the physical prowess of these athletes but also the spirit of camaraderie and cultural heritage that Capoeira embodies.
At the moment, I am displaying two images that highlight the energy, agility, and passion of the Capoeira practitioners. Each image tells a story of movement, balance, and the unique blend of dance and martial arts that defines Capoeira.
